Beginner 2 Day Forklift

Beginner 2 day forklift course is for anyone who has not driven a forklift before or have limited operating skills. The course commences on the first day with the theory training component which covers all the current legislation and operating procedures. A 2 hour theory and 1 hour calculations assessment is completed by each attending learner. On completion of the assessments a pre-start check demonstration is conducted with the trainer. The second day is when all the practical training happens. The course is set up to train how to drive the forklift and progress to lifting loads and loading a truck tray and pallet racking. Once ready the trainer will conduct a practical assessment with each attending learner.

To complete a High Risk Work Licence forklift course each attending learner must;

  • provide 2 forms of ID for example a Driver Licence, Passport as a primary ID and bank card, Medicare card as a secondary ID
  • speak, read and understand the English language
  • be 18 years of age
  • have a unique student identifier

Nationwide Training will provide complementary Passport photos and process the High Risk Work Licence application to WorkSafe WA as part of the course fee.
